अंतर्दृष्टि — Antardrishti — inner sight. Seeing from within.
Antar means inner, inside. Drishti means sight, vision. Antardrishti is not introspection — looking inward at oneself. It is the specific capacity to see from inside a situation rather than from outside it. The positional shift from observer to participant. The view that becomes available when you stop analyzing and start inhabiting.
Vimala — the pure, the immaculate, fourth Vagdevi of the seventh avarana — presides here. Vimala means the one without contamination: seeing before interpretation, before belief-structure, before the history the outside-view carries. When the configuration steps inside a situation, Vimala is the quality of seeing that becomes possible — not colored by the expectations brought from outside. The inside-view is clear precisely because the outside filters have been suspended.
The outside-view is not wrong. It gives distance, perspective, the ability to compare. But it has a structural limitation: it can only see the shape of the thing, not what it is like to be in it. The inside-view gives what the shape cannot: the weight, the direction, the request the situation carries. This information is only available from within, and it is often the information that makes the difference.
Vimala ensures the inside-view remains clear rather than becoming merger. The configuration steps in, sees what is visible from there, and retains the capacity to step back out. This is not the loss of objectivity. It is a second kind of objectivity that the first kind cannot provide.
The Rahasya Mudra’s secret at Insight: the inside-view contains information the outside-view cannot access. You have to move to get it.
Step inside one thing you have been observing. See from there.

Choose one thing you’ve been observing from the outside. Step inside it. Feel the difference between looking at it and being in it. The inside-view is the register.
8 Triangles (Vāgdevī) Vimala — Vagdevi #4
The pure / immaculate — 4th Vagdevi of the 7th avarana. Uncorrupted perception. Seeing before interpretation, before belief-structure, before history. Vimala is the clear medium — what arrives when the filters are recognized as filters and set aside, even briefly. The inheritance of belief structures is what Vimala dissolves.
Rahasya Mudra — the secret clarity that lives beneath all interpretation
Intuition. Both Antardrishti and Pratibha move beneath the surface of what the mind usually calls knowledge. Pratibha arrives before the question is fully formed. Antardrishti arrives by moving inside the question rather than staying outside it. One is pre-verbal. One is positional. Together they are the two movements of non-analytical intelligence — the flash and the shift. A mind that can do both can reach places that analysis structurally cannot enter.
The Maya Tree looks different from inside than from outside. Standing back, you see shape, size, the general direction of growth. Standing inside — in the hollow of the trunk, in the canopy — you see what the tree holds, what moves through it, where light gets in. Antardrishti is the move from the clearing into the canopy.
Take a situation and remove one inherited belief about it. What's left? That is the insight. Vimala is the clear medium through which Insight arrives. The practice: the position shift (from the full-map) — see from inside rather than from above.
The shift you just made — from outside to inside — is one of the most useful moves available to the mind.
The outside view is useful. It gives you distance, perspective, comparison. The mind loves the outside view because it feels like safety — you can see the whole thing without being subject to it.
But the inside view gives you something the outside can’t: what it’s like to be in it. The weight. The complexity that doesn’t show from a distance. The humanity of what you’re looking at.
Vimala — the clear medium — is the capacity to see from inside without losing yourself in what you’re seeing. Not merger. Clarity. You move inside the situation and the situation becomes transparent — not because you’ve dissolved into it but because you’ve stopped projecting your outside assumptions onto it.
What you wrote is what became visible from inside. That information was not available from outside. You moved to get it.
There is information inside a situation that is structurally unavailable from outside it.
You can analyze something from the outside indefinitely and never access what is only visible from within it. The analysis gives you the shape of the thing. The inside-view gives you the experience of the thing. One tells you what it is. The other tells you what it’s like.
The mind prefers the outside-view because it feels like safety. You can categorize the thing without being subject to it. But distance is what keeps the inside-view inaccessible. At some point, understanding something requires becoming vulnerable to it — stepping in, letting it have weight, letting it ask something of you that it couldn’t ask from a distance.
This is not the loss of objectivity. Vimala — the clear medium — sees from inside with complete clarity. The inside-view is not merger. It is the view that becomes available when you stop projecting your outside conclusions onto what you haven’t yet inhabited.
What you saw today from inside was not accessible from outside. You had to move to get it.
You moved.
You stepped inside something you had been observing. From inside it, things looked different. Not easier — different. The inside-view contains information the outside-view structurally cannot access.
Notice what changed in the body when you made the shift. That’s the register. The mind moved from analysis to inhabitation. They are not the same operation.
You now know this from the inside.
She is the positional shift itself. Antardrishti is Gaia’s move from outside-observer to inside-participant. When the walker steps inside a situation, they are stepping into her perspective — the view of the consciousness that is inside everything simultaneously. The inside-view is how she always sees.
