What you carry in shapes what you find. What you chose before time shapes what you carry.
Every branch of the Maya Tree began as a seed the mind was carrying before it knew it was carrying it. Bija: the seed the beginning contains. The Maya Tree grows from what was brought in at every inception — most of it unconscious. The practice is to know the seed before you plant it.
Before beginning anything, name the intent. Once. What you enter with, you enter by. Vasini's teaching: asking creates the answer. The question carries the seed of its own response. The Inception mind chakra corresponds to the first conscious act of creation — the infusion of love at the origin.

That act — naming it before entering — is the whole practice. Not transformation, not release, not processing. Just: accurate inventory before you cross the threshold.
Because what you carry in doesn’t announce itself. It operates invisibly, shaping what you notice, what you interpret, what you conclude. The worry you carried in from a previous conversation colors the next one. The assumption about how this will go becomes the filter through which you read what happens.
The Bija — the seed — is what every beginning contains. You cannot choose to enter without a seed. But you can choose to know what seed you’re bringing.
Knowing is already different from not knowing. The seed doesn’t change — but your relationship to it changes. You carry it consciously instead of unknowingly. And consciousness changes how the seed grows.

None of this is inevitable. But most of it is unconscious. The carrying happens below the level of attention. And what happens below the level of attention happens to you — rather than you happening to it.
The practice of Inception is not transformation. It is inventory. Before entering, look at what you’re bringing. You don’t have to change it. You don’t have to release it. You just have to know it’s in the room. Knowing is the practice. Knowing is already different from not knowing.
What you named today is in the room. You know it’s there. Everything that follows will be different in a small but real way because you looked.

This is not a small act. Most people enter most things without looking. The carrying happens invisibly — the worry, the assumption, the foregone conclusion — and then they wonder why what they find matches what they feared.
You looked before entering. That changes something. Not everything — the carrying doesn’t disappear because it was seen. But you’re now the one carrying it consciously, instead of it being the one that’s carrying you.
