the pair

Incarnation. The seed you carry into a moment and the choice you made before all moments. Bija asks what you bring to every beginning — the everyday threshold, the conversation, the project, the day. Avatara asks what you chose before the first beginning — the existential threshold, the life, the configuration, the reason for arriving at all. Same question at two scales. What you carry in shapes what you find. What you chose before time shapes what you carry.

the reflection

I saw what I was carrying. Seeing it didn’t dissolve it — but it changed my relationship to it.

I’m not pretending it isn’t there anymore. I’m not managing it from a distance. I’m holding it consciously, which is different from being held by it unconsciously.

The carrying continues. The consciousness of the carrying is new.
