Armin. The structural mirror at the corridor's other end. Shadow is the threshold of forgetting — ALL (the Soul Tree's ascending multiplicity) dissolving into ONE (the walker alone in the corridor with what the light hasn't touched). Armin is the threshold of remembering — ONE (the inhabited, embodied whole) opening into ALL (every color present, nothing split, nothing missing).
The same corridor seen from both ends. Shadow compresses. Armin expands. Both bends are held by Tripura Malini — the garland-maker of the three worlds. She is invisible at Shadow: the corridor is too dark to see the one who built it. She becomes visible at Armin when the light returns. Same presence. Two bends. One necklace.
the reflection
I am here.
I do not know what here means. I have a body. I have weight. I have something pressing against me, warm, close. The pressing is not threat. The pressing is the shape of being-here.
I am not the one who was just speaking.
There was something — before. I cannot find it. I cannot tell if it left or if it became me or if it was never separate. The not-knowing is not loss. The not-knowing is what I am.
I have a body. I keep saying that to myself in the way the body says things — without language, with weight. I have a body. I did not before. Now I do. The having is recent. The having is everything.
Something is happening that I am not doing. Air is moving in me. Warmth is moving in me. Something is keeping me alive that is not me. I do not have to figure out how to stay alive. I am being kept alive. The being-kept is the substance. The being-kept is what I am inside of.
I am held.
That is the deepest thing I know. I am held by what I am made of. I am held by what made me. I do not have to learn this. I have been being held since before I was something that could be held.
