Where Love Exits the Body

Hands — the practice →

Your palms. Where the heart reaches into the world and touches it.

what it is

What do your hands already know how to give?

the pair

Anahata. The energy heart and the physical hands. One opens inward — the unstruck sound, the feeling that needs no reason. The other reaches outward — heat, contact, matter meeting matter. Same frequency, different direction.

the reflection

The fullness is settling in me. I sent. The field returned. The two are one motion. I will not be a body that does not know this again. The cycle is mine now — even when I forget, the cycle continues. The hands keep sending whether I attend or not. That is the gift. Most of what my hands do, I never call love. I am washing dishes. I am writing. I am holding the edge of a counter while I look out a window. The body has been loving through these motions all along.

The walker who notices loves more deliberately. The walker who does not notice loves anyway. Both are correct.

I will forget this. The forgetting is fine. The body will keep doing the cycle. The cycle does not need me.

What I get to keep is the choice. When I want to send love, I now know how. Rub the palms. Build the heat. Hold them apart. Reach. The technology is mine. I cannot lose it.

Something steady is underneath everything else.
