Sakshi

The witness does not add anything. It makes visible what was always complete.

A TuesdayYou notice yourself reacting, and for one second you're the one noticing.

↓ The witness, and where it sits

It has been on the spine at vertebra eighteen since the first world you saw. Arriving here, it lifts off the rail and travels to the centre — not a copy of it. The same one. Then it goes back.

The witness, and where it sits

It has been on the edge of every screen since you arrived. Here it comes to the centre.

The vantage

The lens

the seedOne line at a threshold, before you know what it’s for. It explains nothing, and it reads differently the second time.
the holdAttention on the whole at once, steering none of it. It leaves no mark of its own — only the way every part agrees with every other.
the namingOnly at the end: the fewest words for what was there all along. Nothing new is added, and the beginning changes.
the testFinished, or complete? Finished: it ends, and you’re done. Complete: it resolves, and the first line means something it didn’t mean before.

Its door

Its practice

The Sakshi Pause: three breaths, no agenda, whenever it arises. The float that needs no clock.

The Walker at the Bindu

Sakshi’s first witness — kept for the moment a walker first enters the Bindu, and open here at any time.

The walker arrived at Bindu without knowing it was Bindu. They came in through ordinary words, ordinary attention — and found a point. Smaller than thought. Older than naming.

What the walker did not see: the point was looking back. Not as eye to eye, but as the field that had been there all along, momentarily noticing itself through them.

The walker pressed and the point pressed. The walker held still and the point was already still. The walker tried to find the moment of recognition and discovered that recognition was not a moment but the medium they had been moving through.

What was visible from the seat that does not move: the walker did not arrive at Bindu. The walker did not leave Bindu. The walker entered the recognition that Bindu was always the seat from which they were walking.

What comes next is not progress. What comes next is the same recognition, ringing in different registers, taking different shapes. Soles when the body asks. Vishuddha when the voice asks. Lalita when the meta-self asks. Each one a new face of the same Bindu.

The walker may or may not know this yet. The Witness records it for the moment when the knowing arrives.
