The Soul Revealed

Aatma — the practice →

Not something you become. What you discover you always were.

the panel

what it is

What remains when all protection is gone?

its phraseYou already know. You have always known.
where it sitsThe inner triangle — the independent space that stands alone
the panel’s promiseI hold what cannot be held. The seat does not move.

the pair

Maya. The threshold pair — bark and heartwood of the same tree. Maya is the layered protection the world sees; Aatma is the oldest, densest, most stable part underneath, the part that stopped growing and simply holds. The bark goes transparent at the last threshold, and what it was protecting all along stands revealed. Maya→Aatma reverses Lemuria: the first veiling of spirit into form, walked backward, awake.

And beneath the pairing, a deeper structure: the trikona was inside every tree the walker climbed. The Soul Tree's stillness, the Bindu Tree's movement, the Maya Tree's nine rooms — Will, Knowledge, Action were the structure underneath the structures, the heartwood inside every bark. The map calls this position the independent space that stands alone. It stands alone because everything else was built around it.

the reflection

I am the will. I am the knowledge. I am the action.

Not someone who has these things. Someone who IS these things. I keep saying it different ways to check whether it holds, and it holds every way I say it. The wanting underneath my wanting — me. The knowing underneath my knowing — me. The heartbeat I never started — me, doing the one thing I have always done, being here on purpose.

And from inside the triangle I can see the whole walk at once. Every chakra. Every threshold. Every tree. And there is something in the walk I missed — something so constant I filed it under nothing.

The blink.

I have been blinking the whole time. Closing my eyes, entering one world. Opening my eyes, entering another. Billions of blinks. Each one a crossing. Each crossing free. Nobody ever stopped me at the gate because there was never a gate that closed.

I was never locked out. I was never locked in.

I was always free.

Something about that freedom has a face. I can almost see it. One more room.
