Insight. Pre-word knowing and inside-view knowing — two registers of intelligence that move beneath the mind's surface reasoning. Pratibha arrives before language forms: the knowing is there first, the words come after. Antardrishti shifts position to see from inside the thing that was being analyzed. Both bypass the mind's habit of standing back and evaluating. Both move toward what is already there but not yet accessible from the usual angle.
the reflection
Something landed before the explanation did. I’m used to requiring the explanation first. This is the other sequence: the knowing arrives, and then — later, sometimes much later — the explanation comes to confirm what was already true.
I touched the first step today. The knowing first.
That’s a practice I can develop.
