In 1974 a chiropractor said he found six sacred tones hidden in Bible verses. By 1999 a book called 528 Hz the frequency of love and DNA repair. Medieval monks never measured in hertz.
In 1999, Leonard Horowitz and Joseph Puleo published Healing Codes for the Biological Apocalypse, naming six 'Solfeggio frequencies' — including 528 Hz, the 'love frequency' — that Puleo said he found using numerology on the Book of Numbers in 1974. They called it the tuning behind Gregorian chant. Did medieval monks ever sing in hertz?
What's checkable: Guido d'Arezzo's medieval solfège, and Horowitz and Puleo's 1999 book naming 528 Hz. What isn't: any historical link between the two, or that the frequency repairs anything. That claim is theirs, not medicine's.
