Replay the Day

A practice card

One scene from today, run again before sleep, the way you'd have wanted it. Neville Goddard called it revision.

When
In bed, after the lights are out, at the drowsy edge of sleep.
How
Pick one thing from today that went badly — one, not the whole day. Lie still and go back to just before it. Run it again, the way you would have wanted it. Stay in it until it feels ordinary rather than wished-for. Then sleep from there.
Try it
Nothing you type is kept. It floats off the page.
Where it comes from
Neville Goddard, as he taught it. He claimed revision changed what came next. What is plainly true is the state you fall asleep in. If picturing is hard, he offered a phrase instead, repeated like a lullaby.
Sleep from a different place.
His word for it: think from the wish, not of it.
