An Abundant Mindset

A practice card

Not about having more. An abundant mindset is noticing what's already enough, rather than defaulting to what's missing — a habit of attention, not a change in circumstances.

When
When "abundance" has started to sound like a promise that thinking a certain way will make money or things appear.
What's actually happening
Attention naturally narrows toward what's missing — a well-documented lean toward noticing lack over sufficiency. An abundant mindset works against that lean on purpose: registering what's already present and already working, rather than waiting for more before it counts. It changes what gets noticed, not what exists.
What to change
At the end of a day, name one thing you already have that meets a real need — not more of it, just that it's there.
When you feel behind, notice what you're comparing yourself to, and whether that comparison is even a fair one.
Ask whether wanting more means something is actually missing, or whether wanting is just a habit running on its own.
Before buying or seeking something new, check whether something you already own could do the job.
Notice the specific thought that says there won't be enough, and ask if it's describing now or just a fear.

Pick one
Five at once is how these lists fail. Tap a number — the ones up and to the left give the most for the least.
What to expect
This doesn't change what you have, only how much of it you actually notice — and noticing is a slow habit to build. Pick one of these and use it deliberately for two weeks before judging whether the lean has shifted.
